9.8.25 email to Hampton state reps and senator regarding New Hampshire election law

Attached you will find proposed legislation regarding NH election law.  Versions of both of these were submitted several years back by then state rep Nikki McCarter.   Although both the Constitutional Amendment Concurrent Resolution (CACR) and the bill were submitted and reviewed by the Office of Legislative Services, statehouse leadership dismissed them both.

At this point in time, I am asking both these legislative requests be sponsored by ALL Hampton reps for the next legislative session.

These pieces of legislation will ensure complete accountability and implement strict chain-of-custody procedures regarding all ballots used in ALL elections in New Hampshire.

The CACR will ratify the procedural changes into the NH state constitution to be voted on by all qualified voters of this State.

"the adoption of certain provisions and penalties in regards to ballot reconciliation, access, retention, polling location limits, poll workers, allowance of registered voters for post-election ballot viewing, ballot lot and voting documentation viewing, and scanning and recording photographically during citizen audits, and compliance of certain provisions of Presidential Executive Order 14248 (March 25, 2025) “Preserving and Protecting the Integrity of American Elections”.

THIS SHOULD BE A NON-PARTISAN ISSUE AND SUPPORTED BY BOTH PARTIES.

Citizens of Hampton look forward to your prompt response, as the deadline for legislative requests is rapidly approaching.
