Canadians have not been coming to Hampton Beach for years, way before COVID and the stated Legionnaire outbreak. Maybe a few still do, but nothing like before.
Since we have lost over 600 motel/hotel rooms and replaced them with condos and daytrippers who have less money and more trash Canadians have been deterred and driving through NH for quite some time. Check out Old Orchard Beach Maine or the weekend traffic going north on 95 if you doubt it.
