MESSAGE FROM THE COALITION OF NEW HAMPSHIRE TAXPAYERS - PUBLIC FORUM RE: HOUSING

Please let your members and friends know about this.

Housing Forum May 13

We want to alert you to this upcoming forum on housing being hosted by Americans for Prosperity of NH, who, like the NH Liberty Alliance, seem to have lost all sight of what local control means to you and your fellow townspeople. They are advocating anarchy, as mandated by the State.

If you are up for the challenge, it would be nice to have some of you go there and pose the big question: Why do you feel it is necessary to eradicate single family neighborhoods?

This forum on May 13 is in Meredith, but there may be more upcoming.

Here are the details on the housing meeting.

Again they blame zoning for a non-existent housing ‘crisis’.

Keep in mind that Mayberry and Alexander claim to be Republicans.

Next Stop on the NH Advantage Tour: Meredith – May 13th at 6PM!

Join AFP-NH for a deep dive into housing costs and policy in the Granite State.

New Hampshire’s housing crisis isn’t a market failure—it’s the predictable result of policies that restrict individuals from acting freely to meet their housing needs. Outdated zoning laws limit supply, raise costs, and block NH families from improving their own lives through voluntary action.

Join Americans for Prosperity–New Hampshire in Meredith for a conversation on how free-market reforms to zoning and smart state policy can remove these barriers, restore property rights, and let communities respond naturally to demand. When individuals are free to act, prosperity follows!

When: May 13th, 2025, 6-8 pm

Where: Hart's Turkey Farm 233 Daniel Webster Hwy, Meredith, NH 03253

Speakers: State Rep. Joe Alexander, AIER's Dr. Jason Sorens, and Matt Mayberry, Executive Director of the NH Home Builders Association

They are also advocating for ending mandatory vehicle inspections. If you are well-off enough to maintain your car, great. But what about the person who does not, and has no insurance? This may be OK in a state that has mandatory insurance but NH does not. And when two people have an accident because someone’s brakes failed, and neither has insurance, who pays?

Help End Mandatory Vehicle Inspections! Join AFP-NH for our HB649 Phonebank!

Help us urge your State Senators to support HB649 that will end mandatory vehicle inspections for Granite Staters and allow more flexibility, less regulation, and greater savings. Please bring a phone or laptop and a headset/earbuds to connect to.

Please come join us for phone calls, and free dinner!

When: Wednesday May 7th 6PM-8PM

Where: AFP-NH Manchester Field Office,

8025 S Willow St Suite 205 Manchester, NH 03103
