THE UNELECTED ARE THE PROBLEM FOR NEW HAMPSHIRE

Updated: Sep 27

WHAT EXACTLY DO THE ELECTED DO IN NEW HAMPSHIRE BESIDES OUTSOURCE THEIR DUTIES?

Someone should perhaps encourage Hampton, NH Selectman Jim Waddell to first read the grant agreements that town elected boards give the town manager the authority to sign, especially the ones regarding housing, economic development, and local zoning law.

The presented proposals to the selectmen and planning board always seem to come from unelected bodies such as the County Planning Commission and their favorite local non profits.

Perhaps Jim should reach out directly next time if he is confused about what was posted on social media.
