As a Hampton Selectman, I tried to raise concerns about issues that I believed deserved greater public scrutiny—from election integrity and COVID-era mandates to the Black Lives Matter movement. At the time, many people disagreed with me or dismissed the concerns, just labeling me another conspiracy theorist.
Looking back, this isn't about saying, "I was right."
It's about recognizing the importance of elected officials who are willing to ask difficult questions, examine the evidence for themselves, and speak up when they believe something deserves closer attention—even when it's unpopular.
