Chamber cronies on the selectboard (Bridle, Rage)

The Hampton Area Chamber has extended a complimentary membership for their seacoast NH region. (Hampton, Hampton Falls, Rye, Seabrook, and North Hampton].

The Chamber of Commerce is a private business owners' club about 100 yrs old designed to draw small businesses into closer relationships. Membership is open to those who qualify . The Hampton municipal government does not, nor should , “ qualify”.

Hampton voted to become a member at their May 12, 2025 SelectBoard meeting. When was the town joining an unelected private interest group authorized by taxpayers of Hampton?

Concord, Nyhan, and the chamber cabal use Hampton as a pay for play in enough ways already. Taxpayers need to say "NO MORE."

FYI, Nyhan and the chamber boys have been running Hampton behind the scenes for years. The outcome has NOT been good.

Any town should stand against a public government joining a non profit small business association.

Hampton selectmen voted to become a member without any consultation with taxpayers.

The chamber of commerce does not meet the standard hampton deserves.

What will the other towns do? HMMM
